The Hood River County Chamber of Commerce is trying to help local businesses find the resources they need to get assistance during a trying time.  Chamber Executive Director Kate Schroeder says the pandemic has been a devastating blow for area businesses, but quickly adds the Gorge has a history of resiliency in the face of a disaster.  Schroeder says the Chamber is working on the background for a strategy for tourism marketing once travel resumes, noting the Gorge will be competing with other areas as they have been in the past.
