Watercolor Convention Comes To The Dalles

The Dalles will be hosting the Watercolor Society of Oregon’s convention this weekend.  The convention itself will be at The Dalles Civic Auditorium Friday through Sunday, while its fall juried exhibition will open Friday and continue through November 8 at The Dalles Art Center.  Art Center executive director Ellen Potter says the exhibition will feature 80 original works by artists from across the state.  The exhibit will open with a reception on Friday from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Art Center on 220 East 4th in The Dalles.  It will be on display through November 8.  The Center is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
