Tualatin Man Dies In Fatal Fall Near Prindle

A Tualatin man died after a fall on the shore of the Columbia River.  The Skamania County Sheriff’s Office says its communications center on Wednesday received a report of a man who fell about 20 feet onto rocks along the river near Prindle.  Skamania County Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded to the scene, and determined the man, identified as Francisco Javier Duran of Tualatin, succumbed to injuries sustained in the fall and was pronounced deceased.  After an investigation was completed, it was determined no criminal actions were responsible for the incident.
