A 62-year-old Trout Lake man was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver over the weekend after the motorcycle he was operating collided with a deer. Klickitat County Sheriff’s Chief Criminal Deputy Pat Kaley says David Meyer was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained serious head, arm, and torso injuries. The collision occurred at about 2:10 p.m. Saturday on the Trout Lake-Glenwood Highway near Wildlife Refuge Road. Kaley says Meyer was transported by LifeFlight to Southwest Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.
