Trevitt Street in The Dalles will remain closed to thru traffic throughout the weekend and all of next week as Public Works crews continue work to replace a section of water main line.  Motorists are encouraged to use Bridge and Garrison streets as alternative routes to avoid the work area.  Traffic control, detours and road closures will be in effect for the duration of the water line project that is expected to be completed May 16th.  This work is being done in preparation for the repaving of Trevitt Street.
