Street Closures Coming In The Dalles And Hood River

Both the cities of The Dalles and Hood River are warning motorists about some street closures next week.  In The Dalles the intersection of West 2nd and Webber will be closed to all traffic on Tuesday from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. for repaving from the intersection eastward.  The Dalles Public Works says Webber will be closed from West 1st to West 6th as a result, so there will be no access to the freeway on-ramp, but vehicles eastbound on West 2nd will be allowed to turn onto Webber to reach West 6th.  On Wednesday, Webber will be closed between West 1st and 2nd from 6:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. for paving of railroad track approaches.  In Hood River, Oak and Front Streets will be closed to traffic from 1st to State Street for paving work from Wednesday at 7 a.m. until Thursday at 7 p.m.
