Some Ice Fountain Customers Under Boil Order

Some Ice Fountain Water District customers in the Barrett Drive and Country Club Road area are under a boil water order after a fire hydrant was hit on Alameda Road, causing those customers to lose water pressure for a time.  District Manager Mark Beam says all of those affected have had their service restored, but under state law the boil order has to be issued.  He says those who experienced a loss of water pressure should boil their water before consuming it.  Beam adds the order will remain in effect until results of tests for the water in that area are received, and that should happen on Wednesday.  Those with questions should call the Ice Fountain Water District at 541-386-4299.
