Sheriff’s Office Responds To Threatening Note At Mill A School

The Skamania County Sheriff’s Office says it responded on Wednesday to a shooting threat made at Mill A School.  According to a Sheriff’s Office statement, school personnel alerted law enforcement when a threatening note was discovered in a bathroom garbage can.  The Sheriff’s Office says a student suspected of writing the note was interviewed by deputies, and safety measures were enacted by school personnel.  The statement says this is the sixth threat of school violence the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office has responded to in 2023.
