Cross Country Hood River Valley won the girls’ title and finished second to Washougal in the boys’ portion of the Skip Sparks Cross Country Festival at Hood River Valley High School on Wednesday.  Josephine Dickinson was third, Frances Dickinson fourth, and Evelyn Nunez fifth for the HRV girls, while Trout Lake’s Hannah Funkhouser finished second to help her squad to a runner-up finish.  In the boys’ race, Goldendale’s Dillon Rising was second, Trout Lake’s Justin Peck fourth, and HRV’s Josh Haynes sixth.
