There are road projects slated for Hood River and The Dalles next week.  The Port of Hood River Interstate Bridge will have single lane closures Monday through Friday of next week between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day as crews perform maintenance welding to the bridge deck.  Motorists should expect 10 to 15 minute delays.  In The Dalles, Mt. Hood Street will be reduced to one lane traffic between West 14th and 15th on Monday and Tuesday between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. as the water main on Mt. Hood is repaired.  Motorists are encouraged to use Bridge Street as an alternate route both days.  Also, the Chenowith Water District will start installing a new water main at West 6th and Snipes on Monday and continue work through the week.  Traffic on West 6th at that location next week will be limited to one lane with traffic control and flaggers.
