Work will start Wednesday on installation of an eight-inch water line on Rand Road in Hood River between Cascade and Sherman.  Construction is to continue through mid-August.  One lane of Rand Road will be closed to thru traffic from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays for much of the project. There will be flaggers on site to direct traffic, but delays should be expected.
