Hillsboro 7, Hood River Valley 3:  The Spartans knocked the Eagles out of the post-season hunt with the win.  Hillsboro scored in every inning but one on the way to the victory.

The Dalles 13, Junction City 4:  Avery Schwartz had four hits with a double and a home run, and drove in four runs.

Softball

Canby 2, Hood River Valley 1:  The Cougars scored two runs in the first inning and made them stand up for the win.

The Dalles 16, Clackamas 1:  The Riverhawks scored 11 runs in the first inning.  Jeilane Stewart homered and drove in five runs.  Maddie Brock and Keiliani Crichton-Tunai also had home runs for The Dalles.

Warden 14, Goldendale 0:  Goldendale faces Cle Elum-Roslyn in a loser-out game on Friday in Yakima.

Track and Field

Goldendale’s boys finished second to host Cle Elum-Roslyn at the EWAC Districts.  The Timberwolves’ Raymond Holycross won both hurdles races, the long jump, and the triple jump, while Sean Henrikson won the 800 and 1600 meters, and Matthew Gray was first in the 100.  Goldendale’s Emma Meagher won the girls’ 1600 and 3200 meters.
