Port of Hood River facilities crews will be working to grade gravel roads and apply weed killing herbicides at three locations on the waterfront this month, prompting closures in all those areas to all vehicles and pedestrians at varying times due to safety concerns from heavy equipment and herbicide exposure. The Hook Road is closed to all access from today until Friday. the Spit Access Road will be closed Tuesday through Friday of next week, and Marina Park will be closed from February 24 to 28. Dog owners especially are urged to keep dogs away from the closed areas during those times.
