Port of HR West Edge Committee Meets Tuesday

The Port of Hood River’s Nichols Basin West Edge Project Advisory Committee meets again Tuesday to look at two different design alternatives from consultants Walker Macy.  The committee has been working on the design and planning of the west edge of the basin to include a pedestrian and bicycle path, water access, and landscaping.  Port Executive Director Michael McElwee says the committee is on track to wrap up its work next month.  Tuesday’s meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Port’s Marina Center conference room.
