Pioneer Association Reunion & Lunch Cancelled

For only the second time in its history the Wasco County Pioneers Association will not meet for their annual reunion and luncheon on the first Saturday in May.  The Pioneers Association announced the cancellation because of the coronavirus on Tuesday.  The first meeting cancelled was in 1944 due to World War II.  The Association says it will continue with the tradition of naming a Pioneer Man and Pioneer Woman, and will announce this year’s honorees on May 2.
