A special Friday night in downtown Hood River.  There will be a fifth birthday party Friday for Lila May Schow, who has been battling neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer.  A large crowd is expected at the Butler Bank Building on 301 Oak Street.  The party is open to the public, and will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Due to limited capacity in the building, there will be activities both inside and outside, with a screen set up outside to show events inside.  Lila May was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma when she was two, and has undergone numerous medical procedures.  A page to raise money for her family to cover those costs is set up at giveforward.com.
