Oregon Class 5-A Boys Soccer Tournament First Round Hood River Valley 1, Silverton 0:  Noe Magana scored the game’s only goal in the 39^th minute to advance the defending state champions into the quarter-final round.  The Eagles had the run of play for most of the game, but could not finish a number of chances.  HRV will host Bend on Saturday in the quarters.  Bend was a 3-0 winner over Putnam yesterday, and were the Intermountain Conference champions.   SCAC Volleyball Tournament First Round Columbia (Burbank) def.
