Washington Fourth District Congressman Dan Newhouse will host three members of the Congressional Western Caucus that he chairs for a tour of Klickitat County on Wednesday. It will start Wednesday morning with a tour of federal, state, and private lands to outline land management challenges in the area. In the mid-day the group will be at the Goldendale Observatory for lunch and a conversation on the Wildland Urban Interface Project involving the city of Goldendale and the Central Klickitat Conservation District. That will be followed by visits to Juris Farms in Bickleton and Mercer Ranches in Prosser. Newhouse will be joined by fellow representatives Cliff Bentz of Oregon, Celeste Maloy of Utah, and Nebraska’s Adrian Smith.
