A man was arrested as the Mid-Columbia Interagency Narcotics Task Force conducted an investigation at his home in the Hood River area last week. According to a MINT press release, the search at 4175 Riordan Hill Road took place as part of an investigation into heroin possession and delivery. The 41-year-old man was arrested away from the residence on an active warrant for possession and distribution of heroin, and after the search he was charged with another count of possession and carrying a concealed weapon, which authorities say was a knife. He was lodged at NORCOR, and MINT officials say more charges are expected.
