Oregon Class 5A Track and Field Championships
Hood River Valley’s Simone Tillman finished 2nd in the girls’ 200 meters and 4th in the 400. Tillman also anchored HRV’s 4 by 100 and 4 by 400 meter relays to fourth place finishes. The Eagles’ Jackson Bullock was fifth in the 800 meters.
Oregon Class 4A Track and Field Championships
The Dalles’ Madelyn Harrison earned a third place finish in the girls’ 400 meters. Alana Casady took fourth in the girls’ 1500, and Julian Morehouse was fourth in the boys’ pole vault. The Riverhawk boys’ 4 by 100 meter relay team scored a fourth place finish, and Derek Goulart was fifth in the boys’ high jump.
Oregon Class 1A Track and Field Championships
Sherman’s Sophie Hulke followed up a win in the discus by taking first in the shot put, topping the field with an effort of 38 feet, 8 ¾ inches. South Wasco’s Joey Holloway was third in the boys’ javelin and fourth in the discus, with Klickitat’s Austin Fink fifth in the discus. Others with fifth place finishes were Horizon Christian’s Hannah Adams in the girls’ pole vault, South Wasco’s Bailey Udey in the girls’ triple jump and Jayda Iverson in the girls’ 800, and Trout Lake’s Myana Stock in the girls’ 1500.
