Football Hood River Valley 22, Redmond 0:  Trenton Hughes had touchdown runs of 55 and 56 yards in the second half as the Eagles pulled away in a game that was scoreless at halftime. Ryles Buckley intercepted three passes as HRV forced five Panther turnovers on the way to their second consecutive victory.  Tanner Fletcher ran for 110 yards, his ninth straight game over the century mark. The Dalles 27, Putnam 6:  The Riverhawks generated 555 yards in total offense on the way to a season-opening win.  Skyler Leeson ran for an 83 yard touchdown and threw for a score, while Jaxon Pullen had a 70-yard scoring run. Seton Catholic 36, Goldendale 28:  A Timberwolf comeback bid fell just short as they were stopped at the two-yard line in the final seconds.  Goldendale’s Caleb Smith ran for 95 yards and two touchdowns, while also scoring on an 85-yard kick return.
