Crystal Springs Water District in the mid-Hood River Valley is reporting a major water main break on Highway 35, across from Oregon Road.

Crews are on site, but repairs could take several hours.

As a precaution, a boil water notice will be issued for 24 hours, or until water samples confirm the water is safe.  Former Odell Water Company customers are excluded from this notice.
