Washington 14th District State Representative Norm Johnson has confirmed he is seeking re-election. Johnson, who is 75, made the announcement in a news release this week. He is seeking a fourth in the Legislature, touting his work to secure new transportation projects for the 14th District and support of a tuition freeze at public universities. He sees a need for more affordable housing and improving public safety and the education system, along with taking care of the state’s most vulnerable citizens. Johnson is a former Yakima city councilman and school administrator.
