Neely Kirwan has been tabbed to be the Hood River County School District’s new director of curriculum and instruction.  Kirwan’s hiring was approved by the district board this week, replacing Erin Lolich, who has held the position in an interim capacity for the past year.  Kirwan has spent the past 15 years in the Hermiston School District as both a teacher and an administrator, including the last five years as principal of Sandstone Middle School.  She is originally from Condon, where she was born and raised.
