HR Police Take Man Into Custody, Seizing Drugs In Traffic Stop

Hood River Police took a man into custody after seizing a substantial amount of narcotics during a traffic stop.  According to a police statement, an adult male from the state of Washington was pulled over and the officer observed numerous signs of impairment.  A search of the vehicle yielded 18.5 grams of colored Fentanyl, 6.6 grams of Methamphetamine, 10 Vicodin pills, 20 Buprenorphine and Naloxone patches, and three glass pipes.  The man was taken into custody for suspicion of DUII-Controlled Substance.  Police say the Fentanyl pills were pink, adding they are starting to see more of them in a “skittle” colored form.
