HR Planning Panel Considers Naito Hotel Again July 7

The Hood River City Planning Commission will once again consider Naito Development’s proposed hotel and office building at the southern end of the Nichols Boat Basin on July.7.  It’s the second time the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals has remanded the hotel issue back to the City.  City Manager Steve Wheeler notes this remand is limited to flood plain issues.  The City is working on a 90-day clock to make a determination, which means a decision must be made by August 25.  That’s why any appeal from the Planning Commission to the City Council is already scheduled for August 11.
