HR County Commission To Consider Administrator Applicants

Hood River County Commissioners will meet in executive session Tuesday to choose finalists to bring in for interviews for the County Administrator’s position.  Current administrator David Meriwether, who is retiring at the end of June, says a consulting firm has reduced the list to about a dozen for the Commission to consider.  Commissioners could choose any number of them to bring to Hood River for interviews.  There is no specific timeline to make a selection, but County Commissioners have wanted to get someone on board while Meriwether is still on the job to assist in the transition.
