Hood River Tourist Season Starts With Blossom Fest

The traditional Hood River Valley Blossom Festival weekend is this weekend.  While there is now a three weekend marketing campaign around Blossom Time, most of the traditional events still take place on the third weekend in April.  Hood River County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Mike Glover says this serves as the start of the tourism season in the area, and he’s anticipating a good year.  Blossom Fest guides listing various activities are available online at hoodriver.org, and will be distributed this weekend at kiosks off Interstate 84 exits 62 and 64.
