Hood River Police seized fentanyl and methamphetamine after a vehicle search on Saturday. According to a police statement, the driver of the vehicle was taken into custody after exhibiting signs of impairment during a traffic stop and field sobriety tests were done. During a search of the vehicle, in excess of 120 grams of suspected fentanyl, over five grams of methamphetamine, a digital scale, packaging materials, and cash were found. Police noted the fentanyl was in the form of colored pills that resembled candy. The driver and a passenger were taken into custody and lodged at NORCOR on distribution and possession of a controlled substance charges, along with other charges.
