Hedberg Named Parkdale Principal

The Hood River County School District has named Gus Hedberg as the new principal of Parkdale Elementary School.  Hedberg has been in the district since 2000, first as a teacher at Cascade Locks School and Wy’east Middle School before moving into administration in 2006 as a vice-principal at Wy’east and since 2011 at Hood River Middle School.  Hedberg takes over at  Parkdale for Kim Vogel, who will continue as a part-time principal of Cascade Locks Elementary.  District officials hope to select a new vice-principal at Hood River Middle School by the end of June.
