Hecksel Getting Settled In New Position

Hood River County Administrator Jeff Hecksel is getting settled in to his new position.  Hecksel entered the position about one month ago, taking over for the retired David Meriwether.  Hecksel says his first task has been to learn about the County’s organization and the people in it.  Hecksel has arrived as two major issues are before the Commission, a short-term rental ordinance that will be discussed by the panel tonight at 6 p.m. in the County Administration Building, and a time, place, and manner ordinance for marijuana businesses that the Commission will address in October.
