Flu And COVID Vaccines Available

The latest flu and COVID-19 vaccines are now available at primary care providers, pharmacies, and health departments, and health officials are urging people to get them.  Daron Ryan of the Hood River County Health Department notes you can get both vaccines at the same time, and mid- to late-October is a perfect time to do it.  Ryan notes the flu season is expected to be long and extended.  She says Hood River County’s Health Department saw flu cases spike last season into early April.  Ryan also points out free COVID-19 tests are available through covidtest.gov.
