Film On Connection Between Music & Memory To Be Shown

Providence Hood River will be presenting a local screening of a movie about the use of music to help those with Alzheimer’s and dementia.  Providence Hospice Manager Marianne Durkan says “Alive Inside” is a powerful documentary which shows the hope music can bring to both patients and their caregivers.  Providence Brookside Manor has recently started a music and memory program.  The film will be shown on Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Columbia Center for the Arts in Hood River.  It is free to the public, and there will be an expert panel after the movie.
