The Dalles 75, Hood River Valley 68: Dakota Murr’s historic scoring night led the Riverhawks to the comeback win and put them on the inside track for a Class 5A play-in berth. HRV led by 14 points midway through the third quarter, but Murr led a comeback on the way to scoring 53 points on the night…putting the Riverhawks on top with a four-point play early in the fourth quarter, and the Eagles could not recover. Murr’s night included six three-pointers and a 13 for 16 performance at the free throw line. Dakota Kurahara scored 22 points and Jonah Tactay 16 to lead the Eagles. The game finished the regular season for The Dalles, while HRV has two home games left: Thursday against Columbia River Conference champion Pendleton and Friday against Hermiston. The Riverhawks will go to the 5-A play-in round unless Hood River wins both of its remaining games.
