Driver Injured In Highway 14 Accident

One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident on Highway 14 in Bingen early Friday morning.  According to the Washington State Patrol, an 18-year-old man from Dallesport was driving a pickup that due to mechanical issues did not have working headlights.  The WSP says the truck was headed west at Highway 14 milepost 66 when the driver become disoriented by the headlights of an oncoming car and swerved to the right, causing his vehicle to drift on the shoulder where it struck a tree.  The driver was transported to Skyline Hospital in White Salmon for treatment of injuries.
