The Dalles Public Works is asking motorists not to park over stormwater catch basins over the next few weeks as crews work on cleaning them.  Crews have begun working from the west side of town toward Cherry Heights Road this week and next.   By the week of November 6 crews expect to work from the east side of town toward Cherry Heights Road.  Temporary traffic controls may be put in place during work on any given catch basin.  Work will occur between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.  Motorists are asked to park so that the catch basins are accessible during work hours.  A schedule will be released when crews begin work in the downtown core.
