There will be an open house at the Crag Rat Hut in Pine Grove on Sunday to celebrate the mountain rescue group’s 90 years of service. The Crag Rats are an all-volunteer non-profit group that is involved in rescue operations throughout Hood River County. The open house will feature memorabilia, search and rescue displays, and opportunities to talk with members of the oldest mountain search and rescue team in the nation. It will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, and parking will be available in Pine Grove with shuttles up the hill.
