Circles Of Care Offers Help For Seniors

A fairly new program in The Dalles is seeking volunteers to help older adults in the community with grocery shopping or make friendly phone check-ins.  Gracen Bookmyer is a community liaison for Circles of Care, which is coordinated by statewide non-profit AgePlus.  Bookmyer says their mission is to improve the lives of older adults in the communities they live in, and during the COVID-19 crisis they are offering grocery shopping and phone check-ins.  Those who would like to volunteer in the effort, or are an older adult that would like to receive the help, can call Bookmyer at 541-397-0724 or email her at gbookmyer@ageplus.org.
