CGCC Tech Program Beneficiary Of New Center

Columbia Gorge Community College’s Renewable Energy Technology program will be one of the big beneficiaries of the new Fort Dalles Readiness and Workforce Innovations Center.  Program Instructional Assistant Stan Loop says for the first time, all of the components of the consistently expanding RET program will be in one location.  Loop notes the RET program will actually have less overall space in the new location, but the way it is organized and the new lab setup allows the program to look at expanding and continuing to improve its offerings.  A ribbon cutting ceremony for the new center is scheduled for April 17.
