Cemetery Tales Set For Weekend Of September 9

The History Museum of Hood River County will present its annual Cemetery Tales the weekend of September 9 at Idlewilde Cemetery.  It’s the eighth year of the museum’s presentation of first person vignettes about the selected individuals from Hood River’s past, all of whom are buried at the cemetery.  Attendees are guided through the cemetery, and the stories are told at the location where the person is buried.  The History Museum’s Dottie Gilbertson says this year’s theme is “Actions Create Change.”  Cemetery Tales performances will take place during the evening on Friday, September 9 and Saturday, September 10, and in the daytime on Sunday, September 11.  Tickets are available at Eventbrite.com, or call the museum at 541-386-6772.
