It is a busy weekend in the region. Huckleberry Festival gets underway this evening in Daubenspeck Park in Bingen and continues through Sunday. The annual Huckleberry Festival parade is Saturday at 11 a.m., with the White Salmon Lions Club serving as grand marshals. The Hood River Fly-In is Saturday and Sunday at the Ken Jernstedt Airfield and WAAAM Museum. Hundreds of airplanes will be visiting during the weekend. There will be airplane and helicopter rides available, and a pancake breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
