Busy Weekend For Retailers As TD Chamber Pushes Shop At Home Campaign

A busy weekend helped lift the holiday sales for businesses in downtown The Dalles, and The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce is reminding people their Shop At Home contest is continuing.  The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce CEO Lisa Farquharson says they have been down in the receipts people bring in to take part in the contest.  By bringing in 100 dollars worth of receipts from purchases from businesses in The Dalles to the Chamber of Commerce office on 404 West 2nd in The Dalles, people are entered into a drawing for a gift basket.  Entries are being taken through the end of the year for the grand prize drawing.
