The Port of The Dalles is planning to work with other economic development groups on a business mentorship program to help small business owners determine their best actions for getting started again as pandemic restrictions are lifted.  Port Executive Director Andrea Klaas says they keep hearing businesses continue to have questions as they move forward.  Klaas said they have about 14 people interested in helping in some way as they look to get set up.  She added the program will be similar to one from the past called SCORE, where retired executives would volunteer to help new and emerging businesses.
