Business Looks At Port of TD Again

A business that considered expanding to The Dalles three years ago has the community back on its radar again.  Port of The Dalles Executive Director Andrea Klaas says she received a call from the company a month ago saying they were again interested in coming to the area.  Klaas says this experience is fairly common, with changes in personnel and situations in companies.  Klaas could not reveal much about the business itself, but did say it is a subsidiary of a large manufacturer, and could initially employ 35 to 40 people.
