The Dalles Police Department says it has arrested a suspect in connection with a string of burglaries at commercial businesses this week, but also said he has been processed and released from the Northern Oregon Regional Correctional Facility. According to a statement by The Dalles Police Chief Tom Worthy, the suspect, identified as Erik Robertson, was arrested on Thursday in connection with burglaries targeting fast food restaurants. Worthy says Robertson was transported to NORCOR, where he was charged with three counts of burglary in the second degree. Worthy added Robertson was processed and released per standard procedure. The case will be referred to the Wasco County District Attorney’s office for prosecution. Worthy noted the investigation is on-going, and anyone with information is asked to call 541-296-2613.
