Body Recovered Near Bonneville Dam

The Skamania County Sheriff’s Office confirmed a body was recovered in the Columbia River near Bonneville Dam on Saturday morning.  KGW reports Bonneville Dam employees discovered the body upriver from the dam just after 10 a.m.  The body is now in the hands of the Medical Examiner’s Office and the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.  The sheriff’s office said they do not believe the person’s death is the result of foul play, but the incident is still under investigation.  The person’s identity has not yet been reported.  It is unknown at this time how they died.
