Bingen Discussing Crosswalks With WSDOT

Bingen City officials were meeting with Washington State Department of Transportation officials Tuesday to try to find a final solution to an on-going problem with crosswalks on Highway 14.  Mayor Betty Barnes says the work done last year to better delineate the crosswalks did not hold up through the winter.  Barnes said the crosswalks are a necessary safety measure, and the City wants a permanent fix to the problem.
