Baseball

Marist 10, The Dalles 4

The Dalles 7, Marist 6:  Luciano Alvarez’s doubled home Finley Corbin in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Riverhawks a split of the twin bill.

Sherman sweeps Dufur 10-5 and 15-4:  Brody Geer drove in five runs for the Huskies in the nightcap.

Warden 12, Goldendale 2

Goldendale 18, Lake Roosevelt 0:  The Timberwolves scored 16 runs in the first inning, with Josh Boe driving in four runs.

 

Softball

The Dalles 12, Hood River Valley 2: Zoe LeBreton’s grand slam punctuated a nine-run fifth inning that blew the game open.

 

Track and Field

The Dalles’ boys finished fourth and girls’ sixth at the Sandy Invitational.  Julian Morehouse won the boys’ pole vault, and the Riverhawk girls won the four by 800 meter relay.

 

South Wasco’s Joey Holloway was second in the boys’ javelin and the Redsides’ Macy Bell was second in the girls’ high jump at the Buck Classic in Pendleton.

 

Sherman’s Michael Blagg, Renan Christiansen, Henry Poirier, Taylor Payne, and Sophie Hulke all won events at a meet in Prairie City along with the Huskies’ girls four by 400 meter relay team.

 

Second place finishes by Melody Stock, Violette Anderson, and Jade McLean led Trout Lake to finish fifth in the team standings at the Estacada Small School Invitiational.

 

Goldendale’s Raymond Holycross won the boys’ triple jump and 300 meter hurdles while teammate Matthew Gray was first in the long jump.
