Track and Field Columbia finished second among girls teams and third in the boys competition in a six-team track and field meet the Bruins hosted.  Four different CHS girls earned first place finishes:  Claire Anderson in the 100, Claudia Cortez in the 800, Kirsten Hylton in the shot put, and Lauren Thiesies in the high jump.  For the Bruin boys, Nathan Bell won both hurdles races, Shawn Tardiff the 400, and the 1600 meter relay team was victorious.  Lyle-Wishram’s boys were fifth and girls sixth.  L-W’s Gabe Montoya won the boys’ discus and Maelynn Luke the girls’ javelin.  Woodland won both team competitions.   Stevenson’s boys and girls finished sixth at a meet in Castle Rock.  Madison McCrum won the girls’ triple jump for the Bulldogs.   Boys Tennis Hood River Valley 6, The Dalles 2
