Track and Field

Hood River Valley’s Jackson Bullock won the boys’ 800 meters and Kai Wagner won the boys’ 3000, while The Dalles won the boys’ 4000 meter distance medley relay at the Dean Nice Invitational in Gresham.

Trout Lake was the girls winner while the host school won the boys’ title at the South Wasco Invitational in Maupin.  Violette Anderson and Cora Sharp won two events each for the Trout Lake girls, while in the boys’ competition South Wasco’s Joey Holloway and Lyle-Wishram’s Ezekial Marble each took first in a pair of events.

Columbia’s girls finished second at the Panther Invitational in Washougal.  Jessica Polkinghorn won two events while Saylor Hague and Lilah Zimmerman each won one.  The Bruins’ August Lorincz won the boys’ 400 meters.

Dufur’s Hayley Peterson won the girls’ discus at the Carnival of Speed at Milton-Freewater

Goldendale’s Raymond Holycross won the boys’ 110 meter hurdles at the Timberwolf Invitational at Heritage High School in Vancouver.
